To Place Note in a
Model

Click the Note option from the
Generic gallery.

In the Place Note dialog, select one of the following Note Types
from the list.
- Additional Material
- Equipment Origin
- Floor Opening
- Flow Arrow
- Grate Opening
- Instrument Note
- Insulation Type
- Isometric Break Point
- Note
- Pipeline Start Point
- Reference Dimension
- Spool Break Point
- Tie-In
- Wall Penetration

Enter text for the note in the Note Text pane.

Select an existing component in the drawing for the note.

Select a specific location on the component for placement.

Select a direction for the text. (If placing a Flow Arrow, the
direction defines the direction of flow.)

The dialog will remain displayed letting you continue placing
notes in the model. When finished, close the dialog.
